“Throughout my career I have always put the country before my party…this is not a new swim lane for me. Knock off all the partisanship and figure out what is in the best interest of the country.”

Governor Kasich weighed in on the danger of sowing fear and discord in the election process. The election process is a key component of the American political system, and should never be undermined.

“When the results are in, we may have as much as twenty percent of the public saying the election was not legitimate…if you have a situation like that and people do not legitimize the election, that is a very dangerous road we go down…We have been doing mail-in voting here in Ohio for over 15 years and they do it well…we have found no instances of fraud.”

The importance of the country working together is paramount to driving meaningful change.

“America works best from the bottom up. When the public has a clear voice they tell the lawmakers what they want and they get what they want. But when the public is fighting with one another, a clear voice can not emerge.”
